Personal Touch Home Care purchases new van

Personal Touch Home Care Service, of Port Orchard, purchased a new van to provide transportation services for its business, according to Nita Wilson, community outreach coordinator.

Wilson said the van can hold four people, two wheelchairs and two ambulatory persons.

The van can transport individuals to doctor’s appointments, therapy sessions, medical testing and procedures, hospital discharges, prescription pick ups, hairdresser and barber appointments, grocery and general shopping, visits with family and friends, religious services, lectures, plays and concerts.

Person Touch serves Kitsap, Mason, Jefferson, Thurston and Pierce counties.
