Rose will speak on economic development at Port Orchard Chamber luncheon

Jon Rose, president of Olympic Property Group, will be the special speaker at this month’s Port Orchard Chamber of Commerce luncheon at 11:15 a.m., Thursday, March 14, at McCormick Woods Banquet Room.

Rose will speak on economic development in Kitsap County.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in general studies from the University of Washington and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from University of Vermont.

Rose oversees all aspects of the company’s 2,500-acre higher-and-better-use land portfolio including strategic planning, political and community outreach, zoning entitlements, and land development.

Chamber members pay $20 when they pay before the day of the luncheon, $25 on the day of the luncheon. Non-members pay $25 and pre-pay is required.
