Leasing at The Sidney has begun

Rush Commercial has begun leasing at The Sidney, a collection of luxury apartment homes opening this July in Port Orchard.

Rush’s latest project brings 105 brand-new residences to Sedgwick Landing, situated at the corner of Sidney Road Southwest and Southwest Sedgwick Road, and adjacent to a beautiful nature preserve with a winding walking trail.

The Sidney is the first new multi-family apartment community to come to Port Orchard in more than 10 years, and is conveniently located within minutes of retail, medical, shopping, entertainment, freeways and highly rated public schools.

“Until now, residents seeking upscale apartment homes in Port Orchard have had to settle for less,” stated Matt Smith, president of Rush Commercial. “By breaking ground on The Sidney, we signal the start of luxury apartment living in this wonderful community. Additionally, we renew our commitment to working with local leaders to ensure that Sedgwick Landing flourishes.”

Residents will have numerous modern features, including stainless steel appliances and open floor plans. The apartment homes are configured in garden style 1-3 bedroom layouts, each with 1-2 bathrooms, full-size washer and dryer, walk-in closets and patio storage. Carports are also available and pets are welcome.

“The extraordinary management team of The Sidney represents more than 12 years’ experience providing exceptional customer service in Port Orchard and Gig Harbor,” said Smith. “What you find here, you won’t find anywhere else in the area.”

It also boasts several unique community amenities, such as:

• Resident Retreat, a relaxing villa with HDTV, games and a full kitchen;

• A fitness center, open around the clock and featuring cardio- and weight-training equipment; a business center, equipped with free Wi-Fi and work stations;

• Outdoor picnic area with seating and barbecue;

• Tot Land, an outdoor play area.
