Port Orchard police arrest man wanted for theft, forgery and trafficking in stolen property

Port Orchard Police responded to a report alerting them about a 24-year-old wanted man from Bremerton in an apartment complex at 145 Lippert Dr W in Port Orchard at 8:21 p.m. on Thursday. Police had a warrant to arrest him for theft, forgery and trafficking in stolen property. The reporting party told police that the suspect had a hand gun and knives with him inside the apartment, according to the police report. Police surrounded the building, and, at about 10:10 p.m. the suspect allegedly came out. The police handcuffed him, told him about the warrant and read him his Miranda Rights, according to police. The suspect was booked at the Kitsap County Jail on Friday at 2:52 a.m., and bail was set at $40,000.
