The scheduled opening for the new Curly Creek Bridge happened Thursday, March 8 at 2 p.m.

County officials planned a ribbon-cutting ceremony to dedicate the new span. The ceremony began at 2 p.m. at the bridge or at nearby South Colby United Methodist Church, and featured guest speakers, a brass band, and a parade of antique cars over the bridge. The Yukon Harbor Historical Society is provided the antique cars, including a 1929 model T to lead the parade.
