Dinner to benefit 9-year-old girl shot at Armin Jahr Elementary

The Kitsap County Chapter of Credit Unions is hosting a benefit dinner for Amina Kocer-Bowman on Thursday, March 29 at 5:45 p.m.

The dinner to benefit  the 9-year-old shot at Armin Jahr Elementary last month will be held at McCloud's Grill House at 2901 Perry Ave St. in East Bremerton. The girl's teacher, Natalie Poss, Bremerton Fire Department first responder Chris Wright and others will be on hand to speak at the event.

Tickets to the dinner will cost $17 per person. Proceeds from dinner will be donated to the girl's family.

Attendees are encouraged to wear purple, Kocer-Bowman's favorite color.
