The couple on a ninth grade Wild Waves trip.

Johnson, Lindberg-Lund to marry

Lonnie Johnson and Brandi Lindberg-Lund are happy to announce their engagement and marriage to be held July 7.

The couple met in at John Sedgwick Junior High and both graduated from South Kitsap High in 2003, before attending and graduating from Western Washington University in 2007.

Brandi is the daughter of Mark and Melissa Lund. She is currently employed at the University of Puget Sound where she is pursuing a graduate degree in counseling. Lonnie is the son of Jeff and Lori Johnson. He works for the City of Tacoma in Energy Conservation as a conservation program coordinator.

The couple lives in Tacoma with their two dogs Rufio and Moxie.

The wedding will be held at the Kilworth Memorial Chapel in Tacoma on July 7.
