SLIDESHOW | Eagles Car Show and Shine

More than 100 cars — older and newer vehicles — were parked on the Eagles Hall parking lot for the third annual Eagles Car Show and Shine.

During the July 13 event, there were raffles, hamburgers and hot dogs, refreshments and a beer garden for Eagle members, participants and visitors.

According to Eagle member Ken Bicha, more than 115 items were donated by local merchants and Eagle members for the raffles.

He said there were eight items for the silent auction and nine for the live auction. Proceeds were donated to South Kitsap Helpline.

Also, Bicha said approximately $700 in raffle tickets was sold.

Car show participants donated more than 200 pounds of food for SK Helpline.

After the show, a dance was held at 6 p.m. with The Greenbriar Project providing music.
