Six competing for 2014 Fathoms o' Fun royalty

Six contestants competing for the 2014 Fathoms o’ Fun Royal Court debuted Jan. 26 at the Soroptimist International of Port Orchard’s annual Royal Tea at Harper Church.

There are five girls and one boy competing this year for the court.

They are Victoria Hall, Jenni Le Pregnall, Soriandy Sutman, Sami Newhouse, Devenn Miller and Preston Williams.

Hall, 16, is attending Olympic College and her platform is drug abuse and addiction.

Pregnall, 15, is a student at South Kitsap High School and child abuse is her platform.

Sutman, 17, is a SKHS stu- dent and her platform is the love of running.

Newhouse, also 17 and a SKHS student, will have peer and youth mentoring as her platform.

Miller, another 17-year-old SKHS student, will use the Holly Ridge Center as her platform.

Williams, a SKHS student, has the service of politics for teens as his platform.

The 2014 Fathoms o’Fun Royal Pageant is 5 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at Christian Life Center, Port Orchard.
