Informational meeting, health talk set for April 2

BREMERTON — Harrison Medical Center is partnering with Mended Hearts to start a chapter in Kitsap County.

An informational 4 p.m. meeting will be held at Harrison Medical Center, 2520 Cherry Ave., on April 2 for those who want to learn more about this proposed Kitsap County chapter.

Mended Hearts is a national and community-based nonprofit organization focused on providing support for patients and families affected by heart disease.

At the meeting, dietitian and certified diabetes educator Kristen Fahnoe, RD, will present a talk entitled “Top 10 Foods for Heart Health You Probably Aren’t Eating.”
