R.A.G.S. set April 12 at Kitsap Fairgrounds

BREMERTON — Four local Rotary clubs — Bremerton, East Bremerton, South Kitsap and Silverdale — will hold a gigantic garage sale at the Kitsap Fairgrounds Pavilion on Saturday, April 12 starting at 8 a.m. in Presidents Hall.

Known as R.A.G.S., or Rotary Auction and Garage Sale, this will be the 17th consecutive year the event.

The sale items include everything from computers, televisions, sporting goods, tools, building materials, exercise equipment, dishes, artwork, furniture, books, clothes, appliances, lawn movers, garden tools to automotive items.

A silent auction is held in the morning ending at 11 a.m. Furniture and electronics are sold at the VanZee building at the Pavilion.

Contributions are accepted the week leading up to the sale according to the following schedule:  Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Donations are not accepted after 1 p.m. on Friday.

Early drop off locations are the Seabeck Conference Center, Lewis Funeral Chapel, and McCloud’s in East Bremerton.

Individuals who have salable items that can not be transported in a car or have appliances, furniture, exercise equipment or other large items you need assistance, can call 360-917-1240 and leave a message.
