Countywide burn ban set

Kitsap County will impose an outdoor burn ban as of 8 a.m. July 17.

This action, taken by the Kitsap County Fire Chiefs’ Association in conjunction with the Washington State Department of Natural Resources and the Kitsap County Fire Marshal’s Office, is a result of a period of dry weather that is expected to continue for the foreseeable future.
