‘Stand Down for Veterans’ is April 26

BREMERTON — The 2014 spring “Stand Down for Veterans” is set for Saturday, April 26, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Sheridan Park Community Center, 680 Lebo Blvd.

Donuts and coffee are served at 9 a.m. Hot meals are served between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

The event offers many free services available for veterans and their families.

Free services include legal assistance, how to change your child support payments, clothing, hot meals, information to help deal with foreclosure, hygiene items, shaving gear, groceries, haircuts and more.
