SLIDESHOW: Library's Summer Reading Kick-off Party is successful

More than 250 people attended the Summer Reading Kick-off Party held June 7 at Marina Park in Port Orchard.

At the event, 177 children and 14 teenagers signed up for the program, according to Kathleen Wilson, Port Orchard Library branch manager.

Those attending the party enjoyed ice cream, music, blowing bubbles, hula hoops, frisbees and other activities.
