Lloyd completes basic training

Air Force Reserve Airman First Class Taylor B. Lloyd graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio.

Lloyd is the son of Tammy J. and Brad L. Lloyd of Puyallup and grandson of Shirley and Ken Lloyd of Port Orchard. He is a 2013 graduate of Emerald Ridge High School in Puyallup and earned an associate degree in 2014 from Pierce College.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
