Audition set for part in upcoming short film

An audition for a small part in the short film “Closing Time” will be held at 6:30 p.m. July 23 on the second floor of MoonDogs Too, according to D.E. “Don” Manning.

Manning’s script “Closing Time” will be turned into a short film which will be filmed in Port Orchard. The film is a story a love, disappointment, possible redemption and perhaps new beginnings. Four years after a bad breakup, a couple has a chance encounter in a Seattle bar.

The schedule for shooting the film is Aug. 3-5, with a majority of the film shot scheduled for Aug. 4-5.
