Lisa Haner, left, says she loves Port Orchard because “as this community grows, it still maintains its small-town feel. As a fourth-generation resident, I recognize the value of a small-town atmosphere and close-knit community, and this is why I choose to raise my family here.” City Councilwoman Carolyn Powers, right, says she loves her town “because it is a jewel constantly polished by its natural beauty, caring people, excellent schools, friendly businesses, easy shopping/dining, farmers market, recreational opportunities and festivals. What a quality of life! Wow!”
