Teri Goodwin, left, says “I love how the people of Port Orchard come together to help one another in times of need. The most recent example of this is Buck’s A&W. In the face of adversity the people of Port Orchard banded together and came out winners. I love the way we help and support our local people and programs. We still have that small-town charm I remember as a child growing up here.”

Cathy Hall says “(I love Port Orchard because) there is a compelling history here and folks who’ve lived their entire lives in South Kitsap are anxious to share it with newcomers.  And the water activity is enthralling, from fog to aircraft carriers.”
