Take a hike with Jim Trainer, veteran arbor expert

Jim Trainer, veteran arbor expert, will lead a moderate hike at Guillemot Cove on the Hood Canal in Seabeck on Saturday, Oct. 9. The cove is home to old growth trees and wildlife with a breathtaking view from the shoreline of the Olympic Mountains. Boyce Creek runs through the property, which is a salmon bearing stream. The upper meadow is home to the cedar stumphouse. Walk will be approximately three miles roundtrip. Children are welcome. Limited to 25 participants.
