Olympic College to host Jazz Classic

Olympic college will host the "Olympic College Jazz Classic" at its Bremerton campus on Saturday, Nov. 17.

Jazz ensembles from middle and high schools around the region will be in attendance. Expert instructors and musicians will evaluate each ensemble's performance. The purpose of the event is to bring together students from around the region in order to collaborate, share ideas and learn from experts in the field of jazz music.

The performance evaluations will take place on the Olympic College campus from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition to the day events, Olympic college will be hosting a concert along with attending middle and high school ensembles at 5:30 p.m. in the Bremer Student Center.

Community members are invited to attend both the day performances and the evening concert. Admission is free.
