‘Notes from a 12th Man’ at Barnes and Noble, Oct. 13
Emmy Award-winning television writer/producer Mark Tye Turner is, himself, a 12th man.
He’s been a ‘Hawks fan ever since the team set foot on the artificial turf of the Kingdome in 1976.
In his new book — “Notes from a 12th Man,” published earlier this year by Sasquatch Books — Turner tells the story of the Seahawks through the point of view of the longtime fan.
All the great plays, all the great games, all the great players ... and all the misery.
Former Seahawk Steve Largent hails it “an enjoyable ride down memory lane.”
The author will read from the book at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 13 at a festively decorated Kitsap Mall Barnes and Noble in Silverdale.
