Hailing from the same streets as Death Cab for Cutie, Bellingham’s Visible Whale plays the Chuck alongside Seattle alt-rock Girl on Fire (pictured above), indie three-piece Rip Spacer and the Sunshine State’s I Am Empire and Undergone, who travel up from San Jose, at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 12. Generation Decline, Basura, Bloodstained Reality and Abject make some noise at the Chuck at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 15. All the way from southwest Missouri, powerpop band Superstar Runner plays the Chuck at 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 16.

The Band Formerly Known as Alligators plays the Winterland, 1220 Sylvan Way, Bremerton, at 9 p.m. Friday, June 11. Prince tribute Erotic City plays Winterland at 9 p.m. Saturday, June 12.

Chris Switzer plays acoustic guitar from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Saturday, June 12, at Silverdale’s Old Town Bistro, 3388 NW Byron St. The Ray Ohls Trio jazzes the Hi-Fidelity Lounge, 2711 Sixth St., Bremerton, from 8:30-11 p.m. Thursday, June 17.

New Old Stock brings the rock and blues to MoonDogs, Too from 7-11 p.m. Friday, June 11, at 714 Bay Street, Port Orchard. In the House plays blues at MoonDogs at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 12, and Mark Lewis schools all with the jazz sax alongside featured pianist Norm Bellas on Sunday, June 13. WU
