Bluegrass Festival brings music, music lovers to Olalla
August 17, 2009 · 2:27 PM
Hundreds of music fanciers gathered on a baseball diamond on Saturday to tap their toes, eat pie and enjoy the sunshine for the 18th annual Olalla Bluegrass Festival.
The event, held at the South Kitsap Little League Field on Olalla Valley Road features crafts, fun family events and food — in particular the berry pie auction, for which South Kitsap Commissioner Charlotte Garrido turned in this year’s winning bid.
The festival began in 1991 as a fundraiser for the Olalla Community Hall, and now benefits a host of other agencies as well.
