Port Orchard police broke up a fistfight between a 37-year-old man and his 40-year-old brother near the Orchard Theater on the 800 Block of Bay Street on Friday night.

The two men allegedly bloodied each others faces and continued punching each other repeatedly around 10 p.m.

Eventually, the older brother took the younger one to the ground and continued punching him as he was lying on his back, according to police.

When the police stepped in, the older brother allegedly rolled onto his back and started kicking at them.

The younger brother allegedly called out for his mother to “get them off him.”

Three people, including the boys’ mother, started walking towards the group, according to police reports.

Police allegedly told them to stand back, then they put the pair in separate police cars and took them to the Kitsap County Jail.

Both brothers smelled strongly of intoxicants, according to police.

The older brother’s bail was set at $60,000, and the younger brother’s bail was set at $10,000.
