A stretch of Jackson Avenue will be closed overnight Thursday as Kitsap County work crews install a sewer line and storm line across the road just north of the Lund Avenue intersection. The work will take place from 10 p.m. Thursday through 8 a.m. Friday.

Variable signs are in place, and a detour will be in place with flaggers directing motorists when necessary.

On Friday, crews will be full-depth patching the road surface on Jackson. Flaggers will direct motorists through the work area when necessary.

The work is weather-dependent.
