Drunken man urinates on plates and tableware

April 10, 2012 · 11:36 AM

A 20-year-old Port Orchard man was arrested Saturday for allegedly urinating on a set of dishes at the Fred Meyer on Sedgwick Road, the Port Orchard Police reported.

According to the report, a Fred Meyer shopper was browsing the homegoods section of the store when he heard what sounded like running water.

The witness to the drizzling public display, Christopher Olsen, looked over to see a puddle of liquid on the floor and Shane Winslow zipping up his pants. Olsen contacted a store manager, Glen Martinez, who chased Winslow out of the store and called the police.

Winslow was spotted at the intersection of Bethel Road SE and SE Sedgwick Road. According to the report, Winslow was swaying back and forth and was nearly hit by traffic. Winslow was arrested and booked on Malicious Mischief 3. Winslow was drunk and angry at the time of his arrest, the police reported, and may be charged with a minor in possession of alcohol.

Martinez reported that Winslow urinated on $250 in high-end plates and utensils that had to be thrown out.
