Two pounds of marijuana leaves by a dumpster on Sedgwick Road left the Port Orchard Police stumped late last week.
According to a Port Orchard Police report, officers found approximately two pounds of marijuana trimmings near a dumpster at Cafe Soleil Tanning, Hair and Espresso at 423 Sedgwick Rd. in the early morning hours of June 7. The trimmings, left in a parking lot, were spotted by a police officer on patrol.
According to the report, the trimmings appeared to be the remainder of a large marijuana harvest. The pile included few “buds,” the report states, and appeared to have been in place for two or more hours. No suspects were found near the scene.
According to the report, the marijuana leaves were taken into evidence.
