Pooch and Purr on parade in Port Orchard | Dec. 1

Saturday, December 1st, whether your dog or cat is the size of a reindeer or could fit in the smallest Christmas stocking you are invited to participate in the Holiday Pet Costume Parade and Contest.

Registration is 4:45 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. at the downtown Kitsap Bank Drive-Thru, off Bay St. in Port Orchard.

Cost of registration is a non-perishable food donation for South Kitsap Helpline.  At approximately 5:15 p.m. the pets will parade down Bay St. past several judges. Pet awards and prizes will be announced at about 5:50 p.m. before the tree lighting.  Pets must be on leash, and pet owners must  be prepared to 'clean up' after your pet. Last year saw 70 pets in attendance—don’t miss the fun this year.
