Pooch and Purr on parade in Port Orchard | Dec. 1
Saturday, December 1st, whether your dog or cat is the size of a reindeer or could fit in the smallest Christmas stocking you are invited to participate in the Holiday Pet Costume Parade and Contest.
Registration is 4:45 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. at the downtown Kitsap Bank Drive-Thru, off Bay St. in Port Orchard.
Cost of registration is a non-perishable food donation for South Kitsap Helpline. At approximately 5:15 p.m. the pets will parade down Bay St. past several judges. Pet awards and prizes will be announced at about 5:50 p.m. before the tree lighting. Pets must be on leash, and pet owners must be prepared to 'clean up' after your pet.
