Cheney releases statement on Connecticut tragedy | Schools

In the aftermath of last week’s shooting that killed 28 people, including 20 students, last week at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., South Kitsap School District superintendent Beverly Cheney said she wants to “re-examine our efforts to ensure personal safety y in our schools.”

Cheney said in a news release that she encourages everyone with questions or suggestions to contact SKSD at (360) 874-7000 or the principal where your child attends.
