Port Orchard City Council meeting this week

The Port Orchard City Council will conduct their regular meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, in Council Chambers, 216 Prospect St.

On the agenda is action on the approval of the Transfrer of Development Rights Program. Council will also take action on a contract to authorize the mayor to execute South Kitsap School District quit claim deed, drainage and temporary construction easement, real estate excise tax affidavit and release of easement associated with the Cedar Heights Sidewalk project.

A presentation by John Powers to update the Council on the Kitsap Economic Development Alliance, along withe a presentation b Jeanne Cushman on the Belfair Bypass Project.
