SIPO sets annual auction and dinner

The Soroptimist International of Port Orchard (SIPO) and the SIPO Foundation will hold their 17th annual Auction and Dinner on Saturday, Feb. 23 at the Clubhouse at McCormick Woods, 5155 McCormick Woods Drive SW.

Viewing of the silent auction items will begin at 5:30 p.m., and dinner at 7 p.m., followed by the live auction. The event is open to the community.

Festival’s scholarship program is Feb. 25

Fathoms O’ Fun Festival’s Scholarship program is 4-8 p.m., Monday, Feb, 25 at Amy’s on the Bay, 100 Harrison Ave.

There will be raffle item, buttons and pins available for purchase.

Amy’s will donate 50 percent from the event to the scholarship program.

Fathoms O’ Fun Festival’s pageant set

Fathoms O’ Fun Festival’s 2013 Royalty Pageant is set for 5 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at the Christian Life Center, 1780 Lincoln St.

The royalty represents Port Orchard and South Kitsap locally and regionally throughout the year.

They will attend all major Fathoms events, participate with the Festival float as it travels around the Northwest telling the public about the community.

Royalty will each have the possibility of contributing more than 750 hours of community service during their reign.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students. Visiting royalty will be admitted free.
