Man faces felony charge for harassing woman at store

A 38-year-old Port Orchard man faces a felony harassment charge after he was arrested Nov. 11 for harassing a woman at a local retail store.

Joshua Lamont Johnson was charged with one count of harassment with threat to kill on Nov. 13 in Kitsap County District Court.

According to charging papers, a woman reported to Port Orchard police that a man entered the store where she worked and started shouting vulgarities to her on several occasions. He also approached her while she was outside the store and he said he was going to kill her.

Another store employee told police she observed Johnson outside the store yelling obsenities and making gun noises and gestures with his hands at the woman.

When approached by officers, Johnson said he had been in the store but denied threatening the woman. He was transported by police to the store where the woman identified Johnson.

Bail for Johnson was set at $25,000.

Couple charged for violating court orders

A couple, living in Olalla, were each charged for violation of a court order Nov. 13 in Kitsap County District Court.

According to charging documents, Paul Fraser Schultz, 45, and Cynthia Louis Schultz, 51, were arrested Nov. 12 by Kitsap County deputies.

Court papers stated a Kitsap County Sheriff’s deputy was called to a residence in the 4000 block of Anatevka Lane SE regarding a violation of a no-contract order. There was a mutual no-contact order between the couple. When the deputy arrived on the scene he discovered a travel trailer parked within 10 feet of the house with a power and water hook-up. The deputy found women’s clothing inside the trailer and the husband admitted that his wife had been living in the trailer with him because they were “trying to work things out.”

The no-contact order was issued out of Bremerton and expires Oct. 13, 2015, according to court records.
