Port increases day launch fees

MANCHESTER — Day launch fees from the docks will increase after approval by Port of Manchester commissioners on Jan. 13. The fees go into effect March 1.

Day launch fee will go from $5 to $7, but annual fees for residents ($50) and nonresidents ($100) will remain the same.

Launch fees bring in about $16,000 of the port’s $120,000 yearly budget.

The north dock, built in 1998, was replaced in December, while the south dock was replaced in 2012. The south dock was installed in 1996.
