Small earthquake hits near Belfair

 

A 3.5-magnitude earthquake hit the West Puget Sound area, reported the The United States Geological Society.

According to the USGS website, the earthquake happened about 4 a.m. July 28 about 2 miles east northeast of Belfair and 8 miles southwest of Port Orchard.

No damage was reported.
