DISTRICT COURT | Man faces indecent exposure charges

A Port Orchard man has been charged with sex crime involving an 11-year-old girl.

Dewayne P. Horton, 35, was charged with three counts of indecent exposure Aug. 13 in Kitsap County District Court.

According to charging papers, the girl’s mother reported the offense to the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office on Aug. 6 after her daughter told someone that she had been inappropriately touched by suspect on several occasions earlier this month.

The girl said while she played video games with the suspect, he touched her legs, thighs and buttocks.

Horton was arrested and booked into the Kitsap County Jail on Aug. 13.

The following individuals were charged in Kitsap County District court from Aug. 13 to Aug. 19:

• Aug. 19; Craig Lee Magers, 30, Port Orchard, forgery;

• Aug. 18: Christine Kay Gascoyne, 46, Port Orchard, fourth-degree assault; Paul Rodriguez, 51, Port Orchard, driving under the influence and third-degree driving while license suspended or revoked; Brittany Rene Hawkins, 26, fourth-degree assault; Zachary Marshall Lake, 24, Port Orchard, second-degree theft; Kayla Marie Jermy, 25, transcient, possession of a stolen vehicle; Amie Loree Gilberson, 33, Port Orchard, second-degree taking a motor vehicle without permission; Thomas Richard Dunn, 20, Port Orchard, second-degree possession of stolen property;

• Aug. 15: Michael James Cook, 22, Port Orchard, possession of methamphetamine; Zachary Scott Bloom, 19, Port Orchard, forgery.
