Rain, lightning and the threat of more bad weather cut into the size of the crowds but not the enthusiasm of the hungry guests of the Manchester Library’s annual Father’s Day Salmon Bake.

The event, sponsored, by the Friends of the Manchester Library (FOML), which owns the library on Main Street, uses the salmon bake to cover about one-third of its annual budget for the building.

The Salmon Bake is the main fundraiser for the library and runs until 4 p.m. on Sunday.
