Two-boat service restored to Bremerton route

Two-boat service has been restored on the Bremerton-Seattle route of the Washington State Ferries, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.

The M/V Walla Walla was moved to the Bainbridge Island route early Thursday morning to replace the Sealth, which was pulled out for an annual inspection.

As of 3:30 p.m., the Sealth had completed its annual inspection and was expected to assist on the Bremerton route beginning with the 4:20 p.m. sailing from Seattle.

According to the WSDOT, the Sealth will continue serving the route – along with the Kaleetan – through tonight and beginning with the 4:50 a.m. sailing from Bremerton Friday morning, Nov. 13.
