A safe and surveillance equipment was stolen from the Village Green Golf Course last week, the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office reported.

According to the incident report, the reporting party said that after arriving at the business the morning of Feb. 26, he discovered that someone broke a window sometime overnight to enter the business and stole a safe and the video surveillance system’s hard drive.

When a deputy arrived on-scene, he noted that the broken window appeared to have been shot out, possibly with a BB gun.

The reporting party said after entering the business, the suspect went to the back room where the safe was bolted to the cement floor. He said the suspect must have brought tools to remove the safe, which was approximately 125 pounds.

No other items were removed or disturbed other than the video recorder and hard drive for the surveillance system.

The reporting party estimated that the safe cost $1,000 and the video recorder $600.
