Plane crash lands at Bremerton Airport

The pilot of a Beechcraft Bonanza aircraft attempting to land his plane in Bremerton on Wednesday afternoon was forced to make an impaired landing when the plane’s landing gear failed.
The incident happened at approximately 3:15 p.m. at the Bremerton National Airport, which is located off of State Rooute 3 in South Kitsap.
The plane slid across the runway for an estimated 50 feet before it finally came to a stop.
Bremerton police and fire crews were immediately dispatched to the airport. The pilot did not appear to have sustained any injuries.
