Questioning SEED
June 12, 2008 · Updated 4:14 PM
Kudos to newly elected Port of Bremerton commissioner Larry Stokes for expressing reservations about the ports dubious Sustainable Energy and Economic Development (SEED) project.
Although wed prefer his objections be more enthusiastic and comprehensive, we agree with his basic premise that the projects funding plan and structure are vague at best and thus represent a poor investment of the taxpayers money.
Heres hoping his reservations never disappear and ultimately lead to someones pulling the plug on this misbegotten scheme.
