In the past few months, two small dogs being walked by their owners have been attacked in South Kitsap by a pit bull.

Their owners have also been attacked.

Last week, while walking his dog, with his two grandchildren, a man was repeatedly bitten on his hands by the same pit bull that was attacking his dog.

Both the dog and the man required medical attention. The man’s hands are still bandaged and quite painful.

He has not been able to locate the pit bull since he was talen by ambulance to the emergency room and the dog vanished.
