LETTER TO THE EDITOR | Punishment did not fit the crime

I feel that the “punishment” did not fit the vandalistic crime. The judge that took this vandalistic act so lightly was appalling, disappointing and disgusting.

This was an act against the residents of Port Orchard in addition to the many veterans whose names were defaced. I even doubt that there will be much "follow up" on this.

How does a 15 year old make restitution? Clean up on other public defaced buildings and park clean up might be a way to start!
