Liberalism has changed dramatically

The First Amendment was not written in order to be fair in the eyes of one political party, or was it even needed if free speech was only what and who used it. The First Amendment was written for people we disagree with, not for those we agree with.

Scouts thanks for donations, support

The Cub Scouts would like to thank everyone who generously donated food and money. Together we were able to raise 1,884 pounds of food and $507 in cash donation for South Kitsap Helpline in Port Orchard.

The Division II Court of Appeals has returned Kitsap County’s poor financial habits back to them to resolve it would appear. The issue comes from a shortfall in funds leading into the 2012 year.

Reporting on sex crimes bothers reader

My concern is the explicit details reported regarding sexual offenses. These crimes are appropriately detailed for prosecution and legal proceedings and jury decisions. The newspaper is not the appropriate or appointed venue for these hearings and legal decisions.
