Perhaps one of the most honorable things to do is serve one’s country in the armed forces. If a person has the courage and honor to be a member of our military, we owe them our support.

Sen. Derek Kilmer knows this. That’s why he passed laws to help veterans get access to the services they need and added military members to our state non-discrimination laws.

He also helped service-member and veteran-owned businesses by making sure the state directs more contracts their way.

Derek’s work on behalf of veterans was honored with an award from the Paralyzed Veterans of America.

We need another four years of strong support for our veterans and military service members in Olympia.

We need Derek Kilmer.
