Letters to the Editor

Thanks for successful salmon bake and book sale

I join with all the other Friends of the Manchester Library in extending our sincere thanks to all those volunteers who endured the long day complete with rain showers to help us achieve a very successful Salmon Bake.

Without our dedicated volunteers the Manchester Library would not likely exist.

A special thanks to Chef Ben Downey from Amy’s on the Bay, who portioned the salmon with the assistance of his wife, Kori ,and to the entire Bow family and friends who have been cooking the salmon for the past 45 years.

These companies provided cash donations and/or in-kind donations to this year’s Salmon Bake: Airport Diner, Albertson’s, Amy’s On The Bay, Costa and Dageenakis Family Dentistry, Edward Jones Investments, Hi-Joy Bowl, Insights Learning and Development, Kitsap Bank, Kitsap Sun, Kitsap Regional Library, Long Lake Garden Club, Manchester Grill, Manchester Medical Clinic, Manchester Pub, Manchester Realty, Manchester Water District, McGuire & Associates – Tax Services, Olympic Fitness Center, Port of Manchester, Port Orchard Auto Body, Port Orchard Signs, Port Orchard Independent, Starbucks Coffee, Sturdi Products Inc., Waste Management, Inc., West Bay Auto Parts and Wiley’s Automotive and Collision
