Angel a tool of developers

It seems as if a day does not go by that I read in the paper some article about development projects that are strongly opposed by substantial numbers of people.

Each time I see Jan Angel in the middle of this mess on the side of runaway development.

Her record on the commission is one of total support for any and all developments that come along.

And now she wants us to vote for her for the legislature against former Port Orchard Mayor Kim Abel to replace Pat Lantz.

Angel is endorsed and financed by the Building Industry Association of Washington (BIAW) which has made headlines recently for violations of state campaign laws. The BIAW has fanatically asserted its right to build anything it wants anywhere it wants-the people be damned! Oh, and we the people get stuck with the bill for the roads and sewers for all their developments.

With the state’s Growth Management Act a topic of legislation almost every year, I can’t imagine sending this fox to guard that hen house in Olympia.

If you favor sensible development that protects our quality of life and pays for itself, we need to elect Kim Abel to the Legislature.
