I’m writing to ask people to join me in supporting Amy Igloi-Matsuno for Port Orchard City Council, Position 6.

I have known Amy since she opened Amy’s On The Bay Restaurant and have worked with her during her term with the Port Orchard Chamber of Commerce as a member of the board of directors.

Besides running a successful restaurant, Amy has always been involved in a variety of volunteer positions.

She has served on committees for the Festival of Chimes and Lights, for Military Appreciation Day, helped on the Military Fall Festival as well as the Armed Forces Parade Committee.

She served as a judge for various activities at VFW Post 239, worked on many chamber functions as well as being an advocate on a variety of issues in Olympia for the Washington Restaurant Association (WRA) and Association of Washington Business (AWB).

Wow, she is so full of energy. Does she ever sleep?

Amy presently sits on the Association of Washington Business as a board member, the South Kitsap Boys and Girls Club as a board member and is a Government Affairs Ambassador for state Sen. Derek Kilmer.

Amy’s perspective, experience and integrity will serve us well with in our city council.

So please vote for Amy Igloi-Matsuno for Port Orchard City Council, Position 6.
