Just wait until the SK voters find out about Zabinski

RE: “Will Zabinski be what SK voters expect? (Hint: Probably not), Nov. 13

You are entirely accurate in your assessment of Roger Zabinski.

I went to his election kickoff announcement last spring and heard him say that he “hoped to counter the conservative element(s) now represented on the Port Commission.”

It was readily apparent he had picked a very liberal group to announce his candidacy, and for a very obvious reason — he wanted the positive support of his liberal comrades.

My presence was largely unnoticed until the primary speaker (Tim Trohimovich of Futurewise) took questions after his presentation as to how these groups could impose a much more restrictive Shorelines Master Plan update on Kitsap County.

He said 100-foot setbacks for rural shorelines are entirely inadequate.

Zabinski was elected because he didn’t reveal his true agenda, not because he did.
