Wolves suffer second straight loss to league-leading team

January 30, 2012 · 10:21 PM

Playing on the road against one of the 4A Narrows League co-leaders for the second straight game, the outcome was the same for South Kitsap in a 75-49 loss in Olympia on Monday night.

The Wolves (9-7, 5-5) got off to a better start than they did in Friday night's loss to Bellarmine Prep, and trailed 21-19 after one quarter. But Olympia (9-1, 12-2) took control of the game by outscoring South 25-9 in the second quarter.

South Kitsap, playing a stretch of four games in eight nights because of making up games canceled during severe weather earlier this month, has a home game Wednesday night against Central Kitsap. Tipoff is at 7.
