Jaguar club hosts youth track meet

The Jaguar Club will hold its first youth track and field meet from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at South Kitsap High School. It’s $2 per event to participate or $5 for the entire day. Athletes 6 to 8 years old are eligible to participate. Check out www.sktfcjaguars.com for more information.

Evergreen Lumber 4

James Frantz had seven strikeouts and allowed a run in four innings, while Carl Allen went 2 for 2 with a double for Deisler. Aaron Scott, Cooper Canton, Hunter Riley and Jonathan Low all produced an RBI for Evergreen, which lost for the first time this season.

Friday

Evergreen Lumber 19,

Wiley’s Auto Body

Canton and DJ Firman each had two hits and Evergreen scored 15 runs in the second inning to earn the win.

Saturday

Evergreen Lumber 12, Mile Hill Chiropractic 7

Firman, Low and Riley each had 2 RBI to lead Evergreen to victory.
